Springfield Township Parks and Recreation has the following facilities available for rent:
Hart Community Center
The Hart Community Center accommodates 100 people and includes the use of the kitchen facility. Private and business rental fee includes seven hours of facility time. The non-profit group rental fee includes five hours of facility time. Additional hours may be purchased, if more time is needed. Alcoholic beverages are allowed by permit only. Reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis. A completed Rental Agreement, Security Deposit and Rental Fee are required for all reservations. Contact Parks and Recreation to obtain a Rental Agreement. To receive the non-profit rental rate, your group must provide our office with a copy of your group’s 501C3 form. For date availability or to set up a tour of the facility, please contact the Parks and Recreation office.

Pavilion Rentals:
Springfield Township has pavilions at the following locations for rent:

The pavilions can be reserved in advance or may be used on a first come, first served basis if they are available. Reservations are strongly encouraged! Reservations include use of the pavilion from 8:00 a.m. until dusk, picnic tables and grills. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed at the Mill Pond Park pavilion or Shiawassee Basin Preserve pavilion. Alcoholic beverages are allowed at Shultz Park pavilion by permit only with a scheduled rental reservation. A completed Rental Agreement, Security Deposit and Rental Fee are required for all reservations. To receive the non-profit rental rate, your group must provide our office with a copy of your group’s 501C3 form. For date availability, please contact the Parks and Recreation office.
